Job Overview:

As a Night Duty Manager at Hyatt Regency London Albert Embankment, you will be responsible for ensuring a seamless and efficient operation of the hotel during nights and its various departments. This includes providing exceptional service to our guests, ensuring their needs are met, and resolving any issues that may arise.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and coordinate the hotel's night operations, including lobby management, food and beverage outlets, concierge, and front desk areas.
  • Deal with emergency situations, such as fires, downtime, accidents, and system failures, and take necessary actions to resolve them.
  • Strive to provide a first-class initial impression of the hotel and assist guests with any issues or problems they may have.
  • Log information in the duty manager's log to track and follow up on guest issues and problems.
  • Ensure the overall care, hospitality, and service given to our customers throughout their stay.
  • Maintain communication with housekeeping to ensure that the hotel inventory is fully covered and all guest rooms are serviced and inspected.
  • Liaise with the chief engineer or duty engineer regarding rooms out of order or out of service, and follow up on progress.
  • Be highly visible in the hotel lobby and outlets, proactively approach guests, and check for satisfaction. Ensure all guests receive prompt, efficient, and courteous service and all requests and comments are followed up.
  • Deal with all guest queries and complaints and ensure that all queries and problems are dealt with in a satisfactory manner.
  • Be fully conversant with all matters relating to fire prevention, dealing with fires or bomb hoaxes, and any other fire, life, and safety-related matters.
