Job Overview

We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Support Coordinator to enhance our dedicated Care Team, ensuring the provision of exceptional home care services for our clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee essential office administration while being responsive to business needs.
  • Facilitate the service delivery process by efficiently creating schedules for clients and care professionals, adapting quickly to any changes.
  • Ensure adequate coverage for care assistant absences, including sickness and holidays.
  • Maintain accurate records of all client and care professional information within our care planning system.
  • Manage service inquiries by responding to communications in a warm, professional manner.
  • Implement effective systems to ensure all filing and databases are compliant and current.
  • Collaborate with the Registered Care Manager to establish new care packages, including introducing care staff to clients.
  • Work alongside the Care Manager and Recruitment Officer to maintain appropriate staffing levels for both new and existing care packages.
  • Coordinate client introductions, competency assessments, and support visits for the care team in the community.
  • Support the delivery of high-quality services through quality assurance calls and client visits.
  • Assist in the recruitment process and pre-employment checks for new care professionals as needed.
  • Participate in the On-Call Rota and be prepared to provide care to ensure service continuity if necessary.
  • Perform any additional duties required for the successful operation of the business.
  • Ensure adherence to Home Instead's policies on Equality, Diversity, and Equal Opportunities in employment and service delivery.

Salary Range: £23,000 - £26,000 Pro Rata
Position Type: Full-time

Qualifications

  • SVQ Level 3 Qualification (or willingness to pursue).
