The Department of Spiritual Care is a dynamic and evolving team, continually reviewing and developing its services to meet the needs of a modern healthcare setting. As a member of this team, you will be involved in exciting and challenging work, contributing to the growth and development of the Listening Service.

The Listening Service is a highly respected community chaplaincy service that enables patients to explore various life challenges with professionally trained and supervised volunteer listeners. Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate the Listening Service, working closely with the Support Officer and other team members.
  • Travel across Tayside to meet with listeners, GP practices, and other teams, delivering training and providing listening service appointments as needed.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders, including listeners, GP practices, and other teams.
  • Contribute to the growth and development of the Listening Service, identifying opportunities for improvement and implementing changes as needed.

Requirements:
