Client Relationship Executive

Aon's UK Retail division is currently seeking a Customer Service Specialist to become a vital part of our Aon Global Client Network team.

This role offers a hybrid working arrangement, allowing for both remote and in-office collaboration. You will engage with a diverse array of clients, working alongside Aon professionals from around the globe.

The Aon Global Client Network operates across 120 countries, managing some of the largest clients worldwide.

Our UK team focuses on supporting the subsidiaries of these global organizations, providing comprehensive risk management solutions.

Daily Responsibilities As a Customer Service Specialist, your primary role will be to deliver exceptional, innovative, and profitable services tailored to client needs.
Key responsibilities include:

Providing top-tier service to each assigned client in accordance with established standards, while fully understanding their business and insurance needs.

Preparing questionnaires, reports, presentations, and other client-related documents, including client visits.
Communicating settlement terms to clients, ensuring proper premium allocation, and assisting with credit control standards.
Adhering to regulatory and organizational standards as directed by management.

Familiarizing yourself with ICOBS rules, Sarbanes Oxley, BiPar, and Aon business procedures. Aon UK Limited is authorized and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority.

Taking ownership of issues and resolving them, seeking assistance when necessary.

Updating Aon systems (such as working documents, Acturis) according to agreed parameters and identifying enhancements in client risk and insurance program design.

Making recommendations for potential improvements in program design for clients and implementing changes as needed.
Negotiating renewal terms, mid-term adjustments, and coverage extensions.

Engaging in negotiations with insurers as required, supporting the broking function to achieve optimal solutions for clients.

Preparing detailed marketing presentations and renewal reports, collaborating with Broking Managers to create comprehensive coverage comparisons.

Building and nurturing effective relationships with insurers and, where applicable, differentiating the coverage, service, and industry expertise that a specific insurer can provide.

Coordinating global programs and effectively connecting with the global network and Global Risks.

Maintaining ongoing communication with clients regarding queries and changes, ensuring they are kept informed of developments.

Identifying revenue development opportunities within assigned client accounts and making recommendations.

Recognizing opportunities for revenue growth through knowledge of products and services within the broader Aon community.


Ensuring contract certainty is achieved. Acting as a key resource for colleagues regarding contract certainty inquiries and mentoring others as appropriate.
Complying with the Aon UK Limited Risk Management Framework and adhering to Aon UK Limited policies, including participating in risk management (including completing mandatory training) that may impact the business, interests, or reputation of any Group Company.

Skills and Experience for Success Candidates should possess knowledge of Motor and Liability insurance, with the ability to work independently while managing a substantial book of business.
A desire to pursue or progress through insurance examinations is essential.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and deliver accurate results on time.
A high level of understanding of FCA Principles and Procedures.
