Position: Operations Manager

Location: Rotherham

Salary: £45,000 - £60,000 DOE + Benefits

In this pivotal role, you will collaborate closely with the General Manager to supervise operational and maintenance tasks while also leading project initiatives, managing commercial activities, and coordinating subcontractors for specialized capital projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee operational and maintenance activities conducted by both internal teams and subcontractors.
  • Contribute to ongoing and upcoming capital projects executed on-site.
  • Engage in commercial functions, including budgeting and financial oversight.
  • Monitor and assess plant performance and KPIs to ensure compliance with contractual obligations.
  • Ensure that site operations adhere to HSE regulations and internal policies.
  • Maintain strong relationships with essential stakeholders, including regulatory bodies.

Candidate Profile:

  • Demonstrated experience in Power Plant operations or maintenance.
  • Previous experience in a supervisory or leadership capacity.
  • Highly organized and adept at thriving in a dynamic industrial setting.
  • Familiarity with contract management and experience in coordinating subcontractors is advantageous.
