About the Role:

CrossReach is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Senior Crèche Worker to join our team in Edinburgh. As a key member of our childcare team, you will be responsible for creating a safe and nurturing environment for children aged 0-5 while their parents attend Counselling and Therapy Services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead shifts and ensure the highest standards of care are maintained
  • Support colleagues and contribute to a positive team environment
  • Develop and implement engaging childcare programs
  • Collaborate with parents and other professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for children
  • Adhere to Health and Safety, GDPR, and Child Protection policies

Requirements:

  • Minimum of HNC/SCQF 7 in Childcare or equivalent
  • SSSC registration within the relevant timescale
  • Basic computer literacy and familiarity with frameworks like GIRFEC
  • Experience working with young children and family support
  • Respect for CrossReach's Christian ethos and values
  • PVG scheme membership and necessary vetting checks
