Job Title: Senior Childcare Professional
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Childcare Professional to join our team at CrossReach. As a Senior Childcare Professional, you will be responsible for providing high-quality childcare services to children aged 0-5 while their parents attend Counselling and Therapy Services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Creating a safe and nurturing environment for children aged 0-5
- Leading shifts and supporting colleagues to ensure high standards of care
- Maintaining high standards of care and adhering to Health and Safety, GDPR, and Child Protection policies
- Supporting children with their emotional and social development
- Collaborating with other professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for children
Requirements:
- Minimum of HNC/SCQF 7 in Childcare or equivalent
- SSSC registration within the relevant timescale
- Basic computer literacy and familiarity with frameworks like GIRFEC
- Experience working with young children and family support
- Respect for our Christian ethos and understanding of the impact of parents' mental health on infants
- Non-judgmental attitude and ability to maintain PVG scheme membership
