About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Healthcare Assistant to join our team at Thorpe Hall Hospice. As a key member of our care team, you will provide high-quality support to patients and their families, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.

Main Duties

  • Communicate effectively with patients and their families, providing emotional support and reassurance.
  • Assist with the administration of medication, following policy guidelines.
  • Carry out domestic duties as agreed in the care plan, maintaining a clean and safe environment.
  • Encourage and support patient mobility, adhering to moving and handling guidelines.
  • Assist with nutritional needs, as per the nutritional assessment.
