Shire Healthcare is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Senior Residential Support Worker to join their team in Peterborough, Cambridgeshire. As a Senior Residential Children's Support Worker, you will be part of a specialist service providing support to children with Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD).

**Key Responsibilities:**

* Attend staff meetings and supervisions to ensure effective communication and collaboration with the team.
* Take accountability for decisions made regarding the welfare of young people and staff members during shifts.
* Discuss staffing matters with the Manager to ensure a smooth operation.
* Keep all staff members up-to-date with changes to procedures and policies.
* Provide person-centred support to children, adhering to their individual support plans.
* Safeguard vulnerable children and report any suspicions or evidence of harm.
* Maintain confidentiality and respect the privacy of information received.
* Commit to ongoing professional development to enhance skills and knowledge.
* Be willing to cover other homes when required and support the team as needed.

**Working Arrangements:**

* Full-time position, 37.5 hours per week.
* 1 day on, 2 days off rota.
* Shifts: 7:30am - 10:30pm, with sleep-in opportunities.
* Hourly rate: £13.50 + £50.00 per sleep-in.
