Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Payroll Manager to oversee payroll processes across the UK, Europe, and Canada for a 6-9 month assignment which could go permanent for the right individual.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage payroll for the UK, Europe, and Canada, overseeing 9 monthly payrolls (including 2 bi-monthly payrolls in Canada).
- Collaborate closely with Finance to ensure compliance with local regulations, audit requirements, and internal procedures.
- Review and improve legacy payroll processes to enhance accuracy and efficiency.
- Work alongside ADP (outsourced payroll provider), ensuring effective payroll processing and monetary distribution.
- Drive continuous improvement, partnering with HR Business Partners and senior leadership to deliver optimized payroll solutions.
- Supervise 1 payroll admin handling transactional tasks.
Requirements:
- Extensive experience managing international payrolls, particularly within the UK, Europe, and Canada.
- Strong knowledge of EU payroll regulations and compliance requirements.
- Experience with ADP payroll systems is highly desirable.
- Proven track record of process improvement in a payroll function.
- Ability to work independently in a hands-on, standalone role.
- Strong collaboration with Finance and HR teams.
