We are seeking a talented individual to specialize in the design and development of composite materials for both primary and secondary structures in the aerospace sector.

  • Utilize your expertise to create and detail innovative composite structures.
  • Engage in collaboration with specialists, manufacturing teams, and external partners to identify and resolve technical challenges.
  • Ensure that all composite designs align with program specifications and industry standards.
  • Develop model-based definitions of composite structures adhering to aerospace regulations.
  • Strive to meet Means of Compliance standards in an efficient manner.
  • Propose alternative solutions when necessary to enhance project outcomes.

Qualifications:

  • A degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field is required.

Essential Skills:

  • Strong understanding of aircraft structures and their applications.
  • Hands-on experience in the development of composite materials.
  • In-depth knowledge of composite design techniques utilizing various materials and methodologies.
  • Proficiency in CATIA V5 for solid modeling, surfacing, and composite workbench applications, as well as Siemens NX.
  • Experience with FiberSIM and composite development workbenches.
  • Familiarity with PLM Teamcenter systems.

Experience:

  • Proven experience in certifying designs to aerospace standards.
  • Effective communication skills for interaction with both technical and business teams.
