Position: Special Educational Needs Support Assistant

Location: Local Primary School

Role Overview:

This position involves working five days a week during standard school hours, with flexibility available for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide tailored support to students requiring additional assistance, either individually or in small groups.
  • Encourage and motivate children to engage in learning activities and classroom participation.
  • Assist in maintaining accurate records by documenting observations of students throughout the school day.
  • Support the classroom teacher with general management of classroom behavior and activities.
  • Prepare educational resources for lessons.
  • Help maintain a clean and organized classroom environment.
