Job Title: Apprentice Multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer

True North Talent is seeking a skilled and motivated Apprentice Multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our production area.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with the Site Engineering Manager to implement solutions that reduce downtime and improve plant performance.
  • Conduct root cause analysis to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
  • Perform planned and reactive maintenance on a range of specialist and high-tech equipment.
  • Fault find, repair, and maintain high-speed automated machinery.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety, food safety, quality, and hygiene standards.
  • Identify opportunities for improvement in the maintenance plan and/or failure of components.
  • Develop and maintain a strong understanding of FMCG manufacturing processes and procedures.

Requirements:

  • Experience within FMCG manufacturing.
  • Fault finding on high-speed automated manufacturing equipment.
  • Multi-skilled engineer with an electrical/mechanical skill base.
  • A proactive approach, with a willingness to learn and develop.
