About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Risk and Assurance Manager to join our team at L&Q. As a key member of our organization, you will play a significant role in ensuring a robust approach to risk, controls, and assurance that informs business decision-making across our Group.

Key Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the design, development, and implementation of our group-wide approach to risk and assurance.
  • Lead the development of effective and efficient risk management strategies across the Group.
  • Work with leaders and colleagues to support them in understanding their risk profile, assessing risks, and identifying suitable controls.
  • Play a leading role in group-wide 'internal controls' reporting, enabling robust, data-informed reporting on our risk profile and controls.
  • Contribute to the setting of risk appetites at a strategic and operational level, guiding the business on how best to apply these in business decision-making.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in risk management, assurance, or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of risk management frameworks, regulations, and industry best practices.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with stakeholders across the Group.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
