Job Title: Sales and Business Development Manager

Verto People is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales and Business Development Manager to join our team. As a Sales and Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for developing existing key accounts and generating new business opportunities in the South West UK and Home Counties.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with OEM customers and suppliers
  • Sell valves, actuators, steam solutions, and measurement and control systems to various industries
  • Manage and grow existing relationships as well as business development selling valve products and solutions
  • Maintain new valve equipment sales through demonstration, exhibition, and negotiation to achieve targets
Requirements:
  • Experience as a Key Account Manager, Account Manager, Area Sales Manager, Sales Engineer, Business Development Manager, Technical Sales Engineer, or similar within engineering
  • Proven track record in selling or managing accounts for valves, actuators, pumps, hydraulics, fluid power, industrial water treatment, or similar equipment
  • Determination, enthusiasm, and motivation to succeed and grow with a reputable global valves manufacturer
  • A technical engineering qualification, Apprentice trained, HNC, HND, or Degree would be advantageous
