Senior Commissioning Manager Opportunity

Venn Group is seeking a highly skilled Senior Commissioning Manager to lead the implementation of the Targeted Lung Health Checks programme in the Derbyshire region.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop an options appraisal to drive local implementation of the TLHC programme
  • Support the business in driving transformation and value for money in planning, commissioning, and service delivery
  • Build subject matter expertise and technical skills to develop a strong service delivery
  • Provide direction and line management to the commissioning team and support the Head of Service in implementing strategy
  • Coordinate the delivery of QIPP through relevant work streams and commissioning managers
  • Support and chair relevant meetings and workstreams
  • Work collaboratively with partner organisations, including ICB, Local Authorities, primary care, and JUCD programme Boards
  • Provide reports and updates, and develop/assist in delivering financial and activity dashboards to support the TLHC programme
  • Lead the review of services and engender matrix working across the team and with other teams within the ICB
Requirements:
  • Experience within the public sector and commissioning
  • Educated to a masters level or equivalent experience working at a senior level within cancer-related services
  • Extensive knowledge of the national and local cancer agenda
