About the Role
Falkirk Council is seeking a highly organized and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Venue Assistant. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of our venues, including Callendar House, Kinneil Museum, and The Hippodrome.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with cleaning, set-ups, and security operations
- Support the daily operation of the venues, including event setup and breakdown
- Provide exceptional customer service to visitors and stakeholders
- Work collaboratively with the events team to deliver successful events
- Undertake work outside normal office hours, including weekends on a regular basis
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Previous experience in a customer-facing role or events industry preferred
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends
