Audit & Accounts Professional

TPF Recruitment is seeking a highly skilled Audit & Accounts Senior to join a successful firm of chartered accountants based in Orpington. As an Audit & Accounts Senior, you will be responsible for providing a mixed audit and accounts service to a range of corporate and non-profit organisations, primarily consisting of academies. Our client has a strong reputation in the South-East, and you will have the support of an experienced team around you.
Key Responsibilities:- Preparing financial statements from clients' trial balance;
- Auditing all areas of financial statements and preparing audit files for review;
- Taking responsibility for all work allocated, communicating with manager and partner as necessary;
- Meeting deadlines in an efficient and effective way;
- Committed to working as part of a team, with a positive attitude and enthusiasm to help others and take initiative when needed;
- Communicating with all stakeholders with kindness, respect, and supporting your team to succeed;
- Ability to provide on-the-job training for team members when appropriate;
- Capacity to work on numerous jobs simultaneously;
- Desire to be part of a dynamic team.
- ACA/ACCA qualified or nearly qualified with a strong background in audit;
- Demonstrable audit and accounts experience gained within an accountancy practice environment as an Audit Senior/Executive or Semi Senior;
- Strong communication skills, both internally and directly with clients;
- Experience of supervising others and delegation of work, along with organisational skills;
- Looking for an opportunity to progress your career, post-qualification, and develop within a leading firm.
- Annual salary £30K - £42K per annum (FTE), depending on experience;
- Salary review annually in July;
- Paid overtime or time off in lieu;
- Auto-enrolment pension scheme;
- 25 days annual leave (pro-rata), with an additional day after every 4 years' service, up to 5 additional days, as well as Christmas Eve.
