Job Title: Area Manager

We are seeking an experienced Area Manager to join our team at Syngenta Crop Protection. As an Area Manager, you will be responsible for implementing and selling impactful marketing campaigns by building strong business relationships with key stakeholders.

About the Role:
  • Manage a portfolio of key farmers and agronomists in the Cambridgeshire and West Norfolk region.
  • Collaborate closely with Customer Marketing to develop and execute sales strategies.
  • Influence the wider value chain to maximize Syngenta's market share.
  • Pursue opportunities in your territory, leveraging your market knowledge and understanding of customer needs to promote Crop Protection, Seed, and Biological Syngenta solutions.
Requirements:
  • Degree qualified in a relevant discipline (e.g., Agriculture or Horticulture) or equivalent knowledge gained through proven experience.
  • BASIS and FACTS qualified (or capability/willingness to qualify).
  • Experience of establishing and maintaining successful business relationships.
  • Strong knowledge of the UK agriculture market.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • A strong network of contacts in the industry is an advantage.
  • Technical profile of Syngenta & key competitor products is desirable.
  • Ability to develop an Area Business Plan and the continuous utilisation of SalesForce CRM.
  • IT-literate with experience using MS Office suite.
  • Full UK driving license and flexibility to travel throughout your territory.
