Position Overview:

Clear IT Recruitment is seeking a skilled Paralegal / Senior Paralegal specializing in Banking Litigation to enhance our dynamic team.


Role Responsibilities:

The ideal candidate will play a crucial role within the Lender Services Practice Group, engaging in various legal processes on behalf of financial institutions.


Key Duties Include:

  • Managing a diverse caseload involving financial services litigation, including defended mortgage possession cases, advisory work related to deceased borrower situations, and end-of-term mortgage disputes.
  • Conducting investigatory tasks regarding post-redemption mortgage balances and handling litigation related to buy-to-let residential properties.
  • Establishing and nurturing relationships with financial services clients.
  • Ensuring compliance with regulations set forth by the Financial Conduct Authority and adhering to client service level agreements.
  • Aiming to meet financial and performance objectives.
  • Receiving ongoing support, supervision, and opportunities for professional growth.
  • Performing additional duties as assigned by senior management.


Qualifications:

Experience or familiarity with civil and/or commercial litigation is essential.
