About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Litigation Paralegal to join our team at Keoghs. As a Senior Litigation Paralegal, you will play a key role in the defence of litigated motor cases on behalf of our insurance clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a caseload of pre and post-litigation defender motor files, ensuring timely and effective resolution of cases.
  • Adhere to court deadlines and manage files in accordance with court timetables, maintaining a high level of organization and attention to detail.
  • Instruct experts and counsel, as required, to ensure the best possible outcome for our clients.
  • Carry out detailed reviews of medical records, analyzing evidence to support our clients' cases.
  • Liaise with clients, other insurers, and third parties to ensure effective communication and case progression.
  • Negotiate settlements and draft pleadings and court documents, as necessary.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in litigation and insurance, with a strong understanding of court processes and procedures.
  • Experience in at least one of the following areas: credit hire, personal injury, and counter fraud files.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple cases simultaneously.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, colleagues, and external parties.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a high level of adaptability and flexibility.
