Health and Environmental Specialist

At CGBC, we are seeking a highly skilled Health, Safety, and Environmental Advisor to join our team. As a key member of our consultancy, you will play a crucial role in helping our clients achieve their environmental and health and safety goals.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement ISO management systems according to ISO standards, clauses, and requirements.
- Engage fully with clients and manage all aspects of the EHS project.
- Manage projects through our in-house PM system, providing updates until project completion.
- Implement policies and procedures, guided by ISO requirements.
- Excellent document writing skills, experience writing and updating standard operating procedures and processes.
- Risk and hazard identification, knowledge of safety statements and risk assessments.
- Determine client training requirements and delivering EHS Training.
- Environmental and Safety inspections and audits.
- Knowledge of environmental management systems would be beneficial.
- Updating Legal and other Environmental and Health and Safety requirements.
- Understanding document control.
- Ability to lead a diverse team to project completion and ISO certification.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification in one or more of the following - Health & Safety.
- Excellent report writing skills.
- Excellent analysis and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent planning and organizing skills.
- Fluent in English with excellent communication skills written and verbal.
- Organized, efficient and hard-working with strong time and project management skills.
- Good working knowledge of Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
