We are seeking a skilled Geo Environmental Specialist to join our team at AGM Construction Recruitment. As a Geo Environmental Specialist, you will be responsible for conducting site visits, overseeing construction activities, and generating reports.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct site visits for tasks such as trial pitting, soak-away testing, and supervising borehole investigations.
  • Oversee construction activities such as inspecting foundations and managing remediation of contaminated sites.
  • Generate Phase 1 and 2 geotechnical and geo-environmental site investigation reports.
  • Prepare coal mining risk assessments and earthworks strategies.
  • Engage with clients, regulators, and internal teams.
  • Provide expertise on geotechnical parameters for foundation design and conduct risk assessments.
Requirements
  • Strong Degree or Masters in Geology, Geography, or Civil Engineering.
  • Active pursuit of professional development with relevant bodies such as the Geological Society or Institution of Civil Engineers.
  • Technical experience across various geotechnical/geo-environmental projects.
  • Ability to oversee site investigations and produce comprehensive reports.
  • Valid driving license with mileage reimbursement for work-related travel.
