Key Responsibilities
  • Lead digital and non-digital customer acquisition for Lakeland, focusing on profitable customer acquisition in delivery of acquisition marketing plans and KPIs.
  • Manage third-party contracts, including Google, Microsoft, and digital marketing agencies.
  • Act as a key liaison across the wider marketing and commercial team, working closely with Digital Trading, Insight & Customer Marketing, and Brand Marketing.
  • Manage the customer acquisition team, overseeing two direct reports and agencies for paid acquisition, SEO, and PR.
About You

We're looking for an experienced customer acquisition professional with a proven track record of delivering results in a dynamic business environment. You'll have significant experience in customer acquisition, preferably B2C, and ideally in a multichannel business with a significant online presence.

You'll be an operational excellence champion, leading and supporting change in a fast-paced business. With a strong strategic mindset, you'll develop and articulate a customer acquisition plan, translating it into an executable operational roadmap.

You'll have experience leading and managing a team to deliver against the plan, as well as managing campaigns across paid activities in the Google & Bing Advertising Suites (search, programmatic). You'll also have experience delivering paid social campaigns, managing and optimizing affiliate programs, and using digital analytics tools like Google Analytics 360 and Adobe Analytics.

You'll be commercially astute, with strong analytical skills, and able to make sense of complex problems quickly. You'll be able to turn data into actionable insights, driving customer engagement and response. You'll have an advanced level of numeracy, with a strong attention to detail, and be extremely well-organized and deadline-driven.
