About the Role

This is a field-based retail merchandising position within the eXPD8 team, working primarily within The Entertainer concession within Tesco. The role involves ensuring the fixtures are set up effectively, products and promotions are displayed attractively, and the shelves are well-stocked.

Key Responsibilities
  • Product Knowledge and Display
    • Expert knowledge of The Entertainer brand and products
    • Arrange and organize products on shelves and displays to maximize visibility and appeal
  • Compliance and Standards
    • Knowledge and adherence to merchandising standards and guidelines, store policies and procedures, and health and safety guidance
    • Implementation of planograms to ensure consistency and compliance with merchandising standards
  • Promotional and Point of Sale Setup
    • Setup promotional displays and signage to effectively communicate prices, discounts, and special offers
  • Communication and Relationship Building
    • Build and maintain good working relationships with in-store colleagues, particularly department and store managers
    • Provide accurate and timely feedback to client account teams
Requirements
  • Experience in merchandising, retail, and/or customer service
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and use initiative to find solutions
  • Pride in delivering great standards and service for clients
  • Comfortable with manual handling and moving products from warehouse to shopfloor
  • Willingness to accept home deliveries of point of sale or stock items
  • Confidence using a company tablet to download briefs, take photos, and answer questions
  • Full UK driving license and access to a car (bonus)
