We are seeking a highly skilled Expert Mental Health Professional to join our team at Avon and Wiltshire Mental Health Partnership NHS Trust. As a Senior Clinical Leader in the Community Mental Health for West Wiltshire and Devizes, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality care to our service users.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert interventions to service users, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of mental and physical health needs.
  • Offer medical input and leadership to the team, ensuring effective collaboration and coordination of care.
  • Conduct thorough assessments and develop treatment plans for outpatients, taking into account their unique needs and circumstances.
  • Chair CPA meetings for outpatients, ensuring that their care is coordinated and effective.
  • Liaise with other services and organizations to ensure seamless care and support for our service users.
  • Act as a Responsible Clinician, providing expert guidance and oversight to ensure the highest standards of care.

Requirements:

  • Hold a medical qualification (MB BS or equivalent) and be fully registered with the GMC.
  • Demonstrate strong leadership skills and the ability to work effectively in a team.
  • Exhibit excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage with service users, colleagues, and other stakeholders.
  • Have a deep understanding of psychiatric problems and the ability to assess and treat them effectively.
  • Display strong management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage competing demands.
