About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Residential Childcare Skills Coach to join our team at Dovetail and Slate Ltd. As a Residential Childcare Apprenticeship Trainer, you will be responsible for supporting and coaching apprentices within Residential Children's Services, helping them to achieve their apprenticeship qualification.

This is a hybrid role, offering the flexibility of working from home and running 121 training sessions in the workplace. You will be delivering the full apprenticeship standard, which includes Functional Skills, and will have access to extensive support and modern technology to help with this.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will need to demonstrate solid occupational competence in a Management role within the Residential Childcare sector. You will also need to hold a minimum Level 5 Residential Children's related qualification and Functional Skills L2. Ideally, you will hold either a recognised Assessors qualification or a recognised teacher qualification.
