About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Digital Analytics Leader to join our team at Reed. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in shaping the strategic direction of our Digital Trading & Marketing Analytics team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the Digital Analytics Team: Spearhead the Digital Trading & Marketing Analytics team, defining the roadmap and fostering strong relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Deliver Insights: Serve as the principal digital analytics contact, delivering actionable insights that influence commercial decisions and drive revenue targets.
  • Data Analysis: Synthesize data from first and third-party sources to benchmark company performance against market trends and competitors.
  • Reporting and Dashboards: Develop and automate digital reports and dashboards for trading and marketing, reducing manual reporting needs.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate with stakeholders at all levels, including board members, to create new reporting requirements that drive cross-departmental decision-making.
  • Data Simplification: Simplify complex data sets to provide clear, actionable reports and analyses.
  • Self-Service Reporting: Promote the development of self-service reporting dashboards.
  • Tracking and Reporting: Champion the adoption of new tracking and reporting capabilities introduced by emerging platforms and tools.
Requirements
  • Leadership Experience: Proven experience leading a Digital Analytics team or as a Lead Web Analyst in a fast-paced, commercial eCommerce setting.
  • Technical Skills: Expertise in Google Analytics 360 and hands-on experience with GA4, proficiency in dashboard presentation platforms such as Data Studio, Tableau, with Looker experience being advantageous.
  • Data Management: Strong command of BigQuery and familiarity with Google Analytics UA/GA4 schema, competence in mapping event tracking to BigQuery GA schemas.
  • Digital Data Structures: Solid understanding of digital data structures, including data flow from websites to Google Analytics and BigQuery.
  • Analytics Tools: Knowledge of MVT, A/B testing, and analytics tools, awareness of GDPR legislation and its implications for digital analytics.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with a track record of influencing others.
  • Leadership Skills: Leadership skills with the ability to mentor and develop a team.
  • Commercial Acumen: Commercial acumen, analytical prowess, and proven decision-making capabilities.
  • Time Management: Self-motivated with the ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and prioritize tasks.
  • Process Design: Experience in designing and implementing new processes in a dynamic environment.
  • International Context: Comfortable working with ambiguity in an international context.
  • Collaboration: Flexible and collaborative, able to work in a cross-functional, matrixed environment.
  • Initiative: Initiative, teamwork, and adaptability are essential.
