Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Workshop Assistant to join our team at Focus Resourcing. As a Workshop Assistant, you will play a critical role in the day-to-day operations of our European Service & Repair centre.
Key Responsibilities:
- Undertake allocated tasks to assist with the smooth running of the service centre, ensuring efficient and effective maintenance and repair of our fleet of demonstration boats.
- Maintain, clean, and organize the fleet of demonstration boats, ensuring they are in excellent condition at all times.
- Operate the daily operation in the stores, receiving and dispatching parts orders as required.
- Prepare repairs to rowing boats, utilizing your technical skills and knowledge to ensure high-quality results.
- Assist with the preparation and loading of transport logistics operations from the service centre.
Requirements:
- Knowledge of rowing and the basic functions of a rowing boat would be advantageous.
- Competent in English speaking and reading requirements on job sheets.
- Awareness of Health and Safety in the workshop environment.
- Manual handling with heavy lifting.
- A great team spirit with a common goal to achieve excellent results.
- Trainees from an automotive, body shop, or paint sprayer background welcome.
