Overview of the Position

The Campus Life and Accommodation Coordinator plays a crucial role in overseeing the out-of-hours pastoral support services for students at Goldsmiths, University of London. This position is pivotal in enhancing the student experience within our housing facilities through the Residence Life initiative.

By working closely with essential stakeholders and colleagues across the Student and Academic Services Directorate, this role serves as a key resource in assisting students, particularly those residing in Goldsmiths-managed housing and accommodations operated by partner organizations.

Candidate Profile

The successful applicant will possess a strong background in team management, enjoy engaging with individuals, and demonstrate excellent communication and listening skills. They will be capable of making informed decisions and working autonomously, while maintaining a strong emphasis on effective collaboration and teamwork.

Additionally, the candidate will show a dedication to delivering exceptional customer service and will be attuned to the diverse needs of a multi-national student body and local community.

This position entails a dynamic workload that varies throughout the academic year, necessitating strong organizational skills, creativity, and motivation to improve services and processes to ensure a superior student experience.

Work Schedule

The role requires alternating weekly shifts, typically Monday to Friday from 11am to 7pm and Monday to Friday from 9am to 5pm, facilitating a smooth transition with the out-of-hours support team.
