About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our team at Hertfordshire Partnership University NHS Foundation Trust. As an Occupational Therapist, you will play a vital role in supporting older adults with mental health and/or organic impairment to achieve their goals and improve their quality of life.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify the needs and goals of service users
  • Develop and implement occupation-based treatment plans to promote independence and well-being
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide holistic care and support
  • Provide education and training to service users, families, and carers to promote understanding and empowerment
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of occupational therapy services and policies

Requirements
  • HCPC registration as an Occupational Therapist
  • Experience of working with older adults with mental health and/or organic impairment
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Knowledge of occupational therapy theories and models
