We're on a mission to deliver exceptional experiences to our customers, and we're looking for talented individuals to join our team as 7.5 Tonne Drivers. As a key member of our delivery team, you'll play a vital role in ensuring our customers receive their furniture safely and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver furniture to customers' homes in a safe and professional manner, without causing any damage to furniture or property.
  • Communicate effectively with customers prior to delivery to ensure they're aware of your arrival time.
  • Ensure furniture is delivered to the requested room and that we don't leave any rubbish for customers to dispose of.
  • Represent The Sofa Delivery Company values and those of our brand partners in everything you do.
  • Work with your team and senior managers to provide feedback and continually improve our service standards.
  • Carry out daily inspections of allocated vehicles and equipment, reporting any defects or missing items to your line manager.
  • Comply with all driving laws and company policies and procedures.

Requirements
  • A 7.5T licence, Digi Tacho card, and valid CPC card.
  • A valid driver's licence for at least 12 months, with 6 points or less.
  • Great people and time management skills.
  • Comfortable installing furniture in customers' homes, wherever that may be.
  • Takes pride in work and prioritises safety of self and others.
  • Likes variety in their day and the occasional challenge.
  • Dedicated work ethic and desire to be recognised and rewarded.
  • Happy to lift heavy furniture.
