About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Site Quality Director to join our team at GlaxoSmithKline. As a key member of our quality assurance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of quality and compliance across our manufacturing sites.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and Implement Quality Strategies: Collaborate with senior leadership to create and execute quality plans that align with our business objectives.
  • Ensure Compliance and Regulatory Requirements: Oversee the testing and release of raw materials, intermediates, and finished drug substance to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Lead Quality Oversight and Audits: Host internal corporate audits and external inspections, ensuring our sites are inspection-ready and compliant with regulatory requirements.
  • Develop and Lead Quality Teams: Provide leadership and coaching to quality teams, ensuring they have the necessary skills and resources to deliver high-quality results.
  • Drive Continuous Improvement: Foster a culture of continuous improvement, encouraging innovation and process improvements across the organization.
  • Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure quality and compliance are integrated into all aspects of our business.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in a science-related field, preferably chemistry or a related field.
  • Experience: Extensive experience in pharmaceutical quality assurance management, with a strong background in quality management and regulatory compliance.
  • Skills: Strong leadership and influencing skills, with the ability to collaborate with multiple stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
