Our client, Harry Maiden Ltd is currently seeking an experienced Senior Estimator with strong commercial development skills to join their team and drive this 5th generation family business to new levels.

The successful candidate will be someone with a strong estimating background within fabrication and who can identify new business opportunities, develop client relationships, and contribute to the company's growth strategy.

Harry Maiden Ltd is an established business with over 100 years of trading, working across a variety of sectors to deliver a quality and specialised fabrication service. To be part of the team you will need:

• Be able to lead and oversee all estimating activities for the company
• Proven experience in a commercial or business development role, preferably in the construction or oil and gas sectors
• Extensive knowledge of fabrication processes and techniques
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills
• Ability to build and maintain client relationships
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

The company is renowned for its timely delivery of quality bespoke fabrication projects with the design either led in-house or from customer issued drawings. You would be responsible for the commercial function of the business and work closely with the Managing Director.

This role is based in Montrose with a standard 4-day working week (Monday – Thursday). This is a hybrid role combining working in the office, at home and visiting customers and potential customers.
