Job Summary

As a key member of the GE Aviation team, you will play a critical role in driving supplier excellence, robust quality systems, and compliance. Your expertise will be instrumental in driving continuous six sigma process improvement and comprehensive performance management.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Develop and execute a strategy for supplier quality in conjunction with sourcing, operations, and other cross-functional business partners.
  2. Evaluate and enhance the organization's capabilities to stay competitive and aligned with business needs.
  3. Lead and coach a team of supplier quality personnel to effectively monitor and influence supplier performance.
  4. Oversee product qualification/validation, supplier quality assurance, and supplier quality development.
  5. Manage supplier qualifications, action plans, audits, performance monitoring, and assist key suppliers in achieving industrial excellence.
  6. Ensure supplier adherence to GE Aviation's and customers' quality requirements (product and system), knowledge of APQP, and PPAP approach.
  7. Present project plans, strategy roadmaps, risks, and recommendations to senior business leaders.
  8. Communicate solutions across the organization and with cross-functional partner organizations.
  9. Ensure regular reporting of performance indicators and non-conformity management.
  10. Drive an open, unbiased, and positive attitude to investigate issues and develop root cause-based solutions.
  11. Collaborate with a collaborative attitude, inclusive leadership, and engage the wider organization as needed.

Requirements

  1. Bachelor's degree in engineering fields.
  2. Consolidated experience in quality and supply chain operations.
  3. 3 years' experience in fabrication manufacturing.
  4. Strong oral and written communication skills in both English and Turkish.
  5. Ability to work remotely with minimal supervision.
  6. Travel to suppliers as needed.
