We are seeking a Property Services Officer to collaborate with the Property Services Team, focusing on the effective delivery of objectives and repair services throughout our diverse housing portfolio.
The primary responsibility of this role is to spearhead the collection of asset management data, including cost assessments and data analysis, contributing to strategic asset management and the execution of investment, cyclical, and repair initiatives across our portfolio.
The Property Services Officer will oversee the preparation of annual stock condition surveys and conduct stock validation surveys to ascertain current and future investment needs. This position also involves managing significant insurance claims and other major repair and maintenance projects as required.
Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate will possess an HNC in a Building, Technical, or Construction-related field, or an equivalent advanced trade qualification. A solid educational background and experience in evaluating building defects and cost estimation are essential.
This role demands a comprehensive understanding of Scottish Housing Quality Standards and the Energy Efficiency Standard in Social Housing. The successful applicant will have a strong grasp of Housing Association operations and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service.
The Property Services Officer should have demonstrable experience in a comparable role, including project management expertise. Proficiency in report preparation and delivery, along with strong analytical and systematic skills, is required. Excellent organizational and planning abilities are crucial, with the capacity to perform under pressure and independently.
