HGV Class 1 Transport Operator - Immediate Opportunities Available

Menzies Distribution is seeking an experienced HGV/LGV Class 1 Transport Operator to deliver exceptional service within our operations.

Your primary responsibility will be the transportation and retrieval of goods on behalf of Menzies Distribution Solutions Limited and our valued clients.



Position Details:
Location: East Kilbride, G74 5LP
Salary: £30,132.47 Per Annum

Work Schedule:
Rotating 4 On/2 Off Nights
Hours: 37.5 p/w with a 30-minute unpaid break. Monthly Pay
Parking Available Onsite

Key Responsibilities:
- Conducting general driving duties while adhering to legal regulations and best practices for deliveries and collections.
- Transporting goods on behalf of our clients and their customers.
- Utilizing electronic Proof of Delivery (POD) systems and current technology (comprehensive training provided).
- Assisting with the loading and unloading of products.

Requirements:
- A valid UK C+E driving license.
- A minimum of 12 months prior experience in Class 1 driving.
- Strong driving capabilities.
- No more than 6 penalty points on your driving license.
- No previous disqualifications.
- Familiarity with driver hours and Working Time Directive (WTD) regulations.
