Menzies Distribution Limited is seeking a dedicated HGV Class 2 Operator to become a part of our dynamic team. This role involves the efficient delivery and collection of goods on behalf of Menzies Distribution and our valued clients.
Key Information:
- Annual Salary: £31,387.83
- Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, Day Shifts
- Weekly Hours: 45
- Annual Leave: 28 days, including public holidays
- Payment Frequency: Monthly
- Parking: Complimentary onsite parking
Responsibilities of the HGV Class 2 Operator:
- Performing driving duties while adhering to legal regulations and best practices for deliveries and collections.
- Utilizing electronic Proof of Delivery (POD) systems and modern technology (comprehensive training provided).
- Assisting with the loading and unloading of goods.
Qualifications for the HGV Class 2 Operator:
- Possession of a valid UK C+E driving license.
- A minimum of 12 months experience in Class 2 driving.
- No more than 6 penalty points on your driving license.
- No prior disqualifications.
- Solid understanding of driver’s hours and Working Time Directive (WTD) regulations.
