Class 1 Operator - Immediate Opportunities Available

Menzies Distribution is seeking an HGV/LGV Class 1 Operator to become part of our team, delivering exceptional service. In this role, you will be responsible for the transportation and retrieval of goods on behalf of Menzies Distribution Solutions Limited and our esteemed clients.

Position Details:

Salary: £30,132.47 Annually Shift Schedule: Rotating 4 On/2 Off Nights Weekly Hours: 37.5 with a 30-minute unpaid break Monthly Compensation Onsite Parking Available

HGV Class 1 Operator Responsibilities:

Conducting general driving tasks while adhering to legal standards and best practices for deliveries and collections. Transporting goods on behalf of our clients and their customers. Utilizing electronic Proof of Delivery (POD) systems and modern technology (comprehensive training provided). Assisting with the loading and unloading of products.

HGV Class 1 Operator Qualifications:

Possession of a full UK C+E driving license. A minimum of 12 months experience in Class 1 driving. Strong driving capabilities. Maximum of 6 penalty points on your driving license. No prior disqualifications. Solid understanding of driving hours and Working Time Directive regulations.
