About The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Traffic and Logistics Planner to join our team at OCS UK & Ireland. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a critical role in coordinating all traffic, logistics, and parking operations for our NEC Campus.

Main Duties & Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement daily traffic plans for the campus, ensuring efficient and safe movement of people and vehicles.
  • Monitor and maintain various systems used by the traffic and logistics department, including Voyage Control, Traffic Database, Speed Check Database, Genetec, and Timegate.
  • Identify and address training needs for the department, ensuring staff have the necessary skills to perform their roles effectively.
  • Collate financial documents and reports to support events traffic and carpark revenue.
  • Communicate with events staff to ensure seamless coordination and effective departmental information sharing.
  • Evaluate and improve current processes and procedures to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Provide on-site support to manage the team during peak periods and ensure the casual workforce is managed effectively.
  • Work closely with the contract support team to identify recruitment channels and manage the traffic office coordinators.
Requirements
  • Level 3 qualification or higher in a relevant field.
  • Professional qualifications such as IOSH and NeBOSH (desirable).
  • Previous experience in a traffic function, financial administration, and event environment.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
