The core working hours for this role are Monday to Friday, from 8am to 5pm. Due to the nature of shift work, you may be required to cover for absent staff members as needed.
Key ResponsibilitiesAs a Retail Operations Supervisor, you will be responsible for the daily oversight of warehouse personnel, which includes:
- Staff Management: Overseeing the scheduling, rotation, and performance of warehouse staff, including managing attendance, leave, and reporting.
- Compliance Assurance: Ensuring all necessary inspections and checks are performed in accordance with established regulations and internal policies. This includes maintaining compliance for incoming goods through a rigorous verification process.
- Dangerous Goods Handling: Managing the logistics of Dangerous Goods (DG) in accordance with relevant safety standards, ensuring timely processing of all items through the supply chain.
- Communication: Providing regular updates to the Maintenance Manager and Planning Teams regarding the status of received parts and their delivery schedules.
- Team Coordination: Keeping all warehouse staff informed about priority shipments to facilitate effective planning and collaboration with engineering teams.
To be successful in this role, candidates must possess:
- An approved qualification in handling Dangerous Goods for ADR & IATA.
- Proficiency in commercial and proprietary software applications.
- Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
