People Operations Manager

The People Operations Manager will oversee the HR division, ensuring the delivery of timely and effective services across all HR functions, including talent acquisition, employee relations, policy development, compliance with employment legislation, training initiatives, workplace safety, and payroll management.
Key Responsibilities as People Operations Manager:
• Directing the recruitment and onboarding processes to attract top talent.
• Managing performance appraisal and employee development frameworks that resonate with the organizational culture and strategic objectives.
• Formulating and overseeing the HR budget, aligning it with the overall company financial plan.
• Developing, implementing, and maintaining HR policies to ensure uniform application throughout the organization.
• Guaranteeing compliance with current regulations, professional standards, and legislative requirements, including those related to the Equality Act and health and safety.
• Promoting a culture of continuous improvement to enhance employee performance, relations, organizational culture, engagement, and well-being.
• Advocating for and implementing a culture of Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion (EDI) that reflects the core values of the organization.
The ideal candidate will possess:
• Proven experience as a People Operations Manager or HR Business Partner, with comprehensive knowledge of HR and payroll systems and employment law.
• Strong relationship-building skills across various departments.
• Confidence in providing sound professional guidance.
• Capability to lead the development of effective employment policies.
• A proactive approach and a strong work ethic, with a commitment to leading with integrity.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and a friendly, approachable demeanor.

• Strong time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and demonstrate initiative.

Salary is competitive, ranging from £60,000 to £70,000, plus benefits.
