Global People Operations Manager

We are excited to be working with a leading global brand based in the UK, recruiting a People & HR Operations Manager on a 12-month fixed-term contract to cover a period of maternity leave.
As a key member of the HR team, you will lead a team of HR Administrators and HRIS to support a global headcount of approximately 2,500 employees. Your primary responsibility will be to operationally deliver the people strategy across the entire employee lifecycle, ensuring seamless execution of all people-related processes and procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the employee experience, including wellbeing, inclusion, and engagement initiatives
- Initiate and lead people-related change programs, driving business growth and improvement
- Ensure operational excellence across all people policies, processes, and procedures
- Manage performance and employee relations issues
- Oversee annual employee lifecycle processes, including pay and bonus reviews, appraisals, and performance evaluations
- Ensure accurate and up-to-date HR data on the HR system, with regular audits and reporting
- Streamline and automate processes and systems to drive continuous improvement and efficiency
In addition to the above responsibilities, you will also be involved in various HR programs and projects, including the upgrade of the HRIS system. Your expertise will be invaluable in driving business growth and improvement through effective people management.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in a generalist and operationally led HR role, preferably in a similar position or as an HR Business Partner
- International experience and team management skills are desirable, but not essential
- Technical knowledge of UK employment law and experience across the full employee lifecycle
- Ability to lead the development of people processes and deliver change projects
- Commercial acumen and a strong sense of curiosity, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
This role is ideal for someone who is commercially minded, with a strong sense of curiosity and the ability to work well in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will be based in the UK office, with an expectation to work in the office 3 days a week. We are looking for someone who can start in September or October.
