Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Housekeeping Floor Porter to join our esteemed Rooms Division. Reporting directly to the Assistant Executive Housekeeper, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and orderliness of guest floors, ensuring that our high standards of service are consistently met. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Maintaining cleanliness in service areas, guest corridors, and back-of-house stairways.
  • Conducting routine and deep cleaning tasks to enhance guest satisfaction.
  • Overseeing the organization and upkeep of storage areas within the department.
  • Assisting with furniture movement for special events and VIP setups under the guidance of the Assistant Housekeeper Manager.
  • Responding promptly to requests from Housekeepers, Room Attendants, and guests.
  • Executing spring cleaning duties as assigned by the Floor Housekeeper.
  • Proactively anticipating guest needs to provide exceptional service and manage challenging situations effectively.
  • Ensuring storage rooms are organized, clean, and well-presented, with updated stock lists.
  • Taking on additional responsibilities in the absence of senior staff.
  • Adhering to lost property protocols.
  • Maintaining a professional appearance in line with Raffles London grooming standards.

  • A proven ability to deliver high-quality service in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills, both verbal and written.
  • A willingness to contribute to a 24-hour operational schedule as needed.
