Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Room Service Attendant to join our team at Marriott International, Inc. As a Room Service Attendant, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests by delivering a wide range of services that make their dining experience memorable and unique.
Key Responsibilities:
- Advocate and maintain a high standard of luxury lifestyle service within the Food & Beverage operation.
- Maintain cleanliness in all areas of the discipline, at all times, and advocate this as best practice.
- Proactively learn new menu items, beverage items, and changes in service standards.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of company Food Safety Programs within assigned area of responsibility, as well as all local, state, and federal regulations.
- Report maintenance issues immediately to appropriate personnel.
- Product (food & beverage), menu, operational, food hygiene, and service knowledge is essential.
- Attitude, grooming standard, body language, and tone need to be positive, supportive, and on brand at all times.
- Attend monthly departmental meetings and 1:1's to stay informed and up-to-date on departmental knowledge.
- Carry out other duties as required by the F&B Management team.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar role within the hospitality industry, preferably in a luxury hotel environment.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to interact effectively at all levels.
- Detail-oriented with a passion for delivering excellence in customer service.
- Knowledge of the overall hotel operations is essential for this role to understand the part you play in the wider guest experience.
- L2 Food Hygiene certification is preferred, and you should work towards achieving this if you don't hold a certification already.
