Clear Ventures is seeking a dynamic and experienced District Sales Manager to lead and develop a team of Territory Account Executives in the London area. This role offers a unique opportunity to build and manage a high-performing sales team, driving growth and success within the restaurant technology sector.
As a player/coach, you will be responsible for hiring, training, coaching, and motivating your team to achieve ambitious sales targets. You will work closely with your team members to understand the unique needs of restaurants and develop customized solutions that leverage Toast's comprehensive suite of technology offerings.
This is a 100% remote opportunity with local travel requirements. Candidates must reside in or be willing to relocate to the London area.
Responsibilities:- Recruit, manage, and develop a quota-achieving sales team of Territory Account Executives
- Attract and retain top talent within the sales industry
- Provide coaching and mentorship to your team, ensuring they excel in conducting effective discovery meetings, live product demonstrations, and crafting bespoke solutions for restaurateurs
- Develop and execute innovative go-to-market strategies to generate demand within the London marketplace
- Cultivate partnerships with other technology providers to drive referral demand
- Leverage Salesforce CRM to track, analyze, and influence sales performance
- Collaborate with onboarding and customer care teams to deliver a world-class customer experience
- Utilize your knowledge of Toast's products and business model to replicate success in new markets
- Contribute to the establishment of internal processes for international market expansion
- 3+ years of proven experience in outside sales management, specializing in complex hardware and software solutions
- Demonstrated success in managing sales teams within markets with limited or no existing market penetration
- Ability to thrive under pressure and navigate ambiguity effectively
- Strong understanding of restaurant operations and industry trends
- Proficiency in using Salesforce CRM
