Lead and Develop a High-Performing Sales Development Team

Redis Labs is seeking a passionate and experienced Manager, Sales Development to lead and inspire a team of talented SDRs.

In this role, you will play a pivotal part in driving revenue growth by developing and executing effective sales strategies. You'll be responsible for mentoring and coaching your team, ensuring they have the skills and resources needed to excel.

Your Responsibilities:
  • Team Leadership & Development: Manage, train, and motivate a team of SDRs to achieve individual and collective goals. Provide ongoing feedback, coaching, and support to enhance their skills and performance.
  • Strategic Sales Planning: Develop and implement sales strategies that align with business objectives and drive revenue growth. Collaborate closely with the sales and marketing teams to optimize lead generation and qualification processes.
  • Prospecting & Qualification: Oversee the team's prospecting efforts to identify and qualify potential clients. Ensure a high level of activity and productivity within the team to generate a consistent flow of qualified leads.
  • Performance Analysis & Reporting: Analyze key metrics and sales data to evaluate team performance. Provide regular reports and insights to leadership, highlighting successes, challenges, and areas for improvement.
  • Collaboration & Teamwork: Foster a collaborative environment between SDRs, Account Executives, and Marketing to drive overall business success. Ensure seamless handoff of qualified leads to the sales team.
  • Process Optimization: Continuously refine and optimize sales processes, tools, and techniques to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the SDR team.
What You Bring to the Table:
  • 4+ years of experience in B2B software sales, with at least 2 years managing SDR teams.
  • Proven track record of exceeding quotas and other performance metrics.
  • Demonstrated outbound hunter sales mentality with expertise in prospecting best practices.
  • Excellent soft skills and the ability to train and coach others for high-performance.
  • Proficiency in sales tools such as Salesforce and Outreach, as well as prospecting and research software like 6sense, Lusha, and Apollo.
  • Strong written and spoken English; knowledge of a second language is a bonus.
