Job Title: Youth Support Worker

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Youth Support Worker to join our team at Barnardo's. As a Youth Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting young people aged 10-25 years to develop their skills, confidence, and well-being.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and delivering groupwork sessions, providing emotional and practical support to young people, and working in partnership with Co-op, Children's Services, and the community.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and deliver groupwork sessions for young people, including issue-based sessions to support wellbeing and development.
  • Provide emotional and practical support to young people, in line with safeguarding policies and procedures.
  • Work in partnership with Co-op, Children's Services, and the community to ensure the needs of young people are met.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement effective support plans for young people.
