Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Engineer with expertise in field service or maintenance to join our dedicated team at a well-established production facility.

Role Responsibilities:
In this dynamic role, you will engage in a variety of tasks, balancing between planned maintenance and responsive repairs. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting 75% reactive maintenance and 25% scheduled maintenance.
  • Providing specialized support for maintenance and repair challenges.
  • Inspecting machinery and components, performing necessary replacements or repairs.
  • Managing small-scale projects effectively.

Compensation and Benefits:
BASIC SALARY: Up to £45,000
BENEFITS:

  • 24 days of holiday plus bank holidays, with increases based on service.

This position is based in a central location with easy access for commuting from surrounding areas.

While formal qualifications such as BTEC, C&G, or NVQ Level 3 are beneficial, we also value practical experience. Ideal candidates will have:

  • Experience in servicing and repairing various production plant systems.
  • Familiarity with industrial plant systems, including boilers and compressors.
  • Strong problem-solving and fault-finding abilities.
