Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Behaviour Management Specialist to join our team at Teaching Personnel. As an On-Call Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in maintaining a calm and productive learning environment in a secondary school setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Respond to behaviour or disruption issues around the school as part of the on-call team
  • Support teachers by managing students who need time out of the classroom
  • Ensure school behaviour policies are adhered to, providing support in maintaining discipline
  • Work with students to encourage positive behaviour and re-engagement with learning
  • Build strong relationships with staff and students to promote a safe and respectful environment

Requirements:

  • Experience working with young people in an educational or similar setting
  • Strong behaviour management skills
  • Confidence in handling challenging situations in a calm and professional manner
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • A DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply for one)
